Kristi Englekirk graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in May of 2019. During her time in law school, Kristi clerked for the Denver Immigration Clerk and worked as a student attorney during the inaugural semester of the DU Immigration Law & Policy Clinic, where she and her team successfully fought a federal habeas corpus petition for her clients. In her time at the MLO, Kristi has fought fiercely for her clients. She regularly appears before USCIS and the Denver Immigration Court, as well as representing defendants in criminal cases and post-conviction matters in state district, county, and municipal courts.
Kristi is deeply committed to serving the immigrant community and giving a voice to others while fighting against injustice on both a micro and a systemic level. All aspects of her representation demonstrate her dedication to serving others and her commitment to her clients.
Kristi also has bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and International Affairs.
