Jackie (she/her/ella) was born in Durango, Mexico but grew up in Boulder, Colorado, and lives in Denver. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Metropolitan State University of Denver and is pursuing law school. Jackie is passionate about immigration and civil rights law and is committed to bringing social justice to all marginalized populations. She enjoys working with people of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures and takes pride in supporting and helping serve a diverse population. Jackie enjoys giving back to her community through volunteer work. She’s a volunteer for the Rocky Mountain Immigration Advocacy Network, El Paso Movement, and a volunteer and board member for the League of Women Voters of Boulder County. Outside of work, Jackie enjoys reading, hiking, yoga, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
