Edgar graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2021. During his time at DU, he had the opportunity to do an internship the summer after his 1L year with an immigration office and quickly knew that he wanted to work in immigration law. As a first-generation American, Edgar could relate to a lot of the experiences that his clients and their families were going through and is passionate about fighting for the immigrant community.

At Sturm, Edgar had the opportunity to join the Immigration Law and Policy Clinic as a Student Attorney at the beginning of his 2L year and continued his participation in the clinic for the entirety of his 2L and 3L years. During his time in the clinic, with the help of amazing co-counsel and Professors/Attorney mentors, he represented clients in Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the U.S. District Court of Colorado, and the U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, including delivering the Oral Argument before the Tenth Circuit for one of his clients. Edgar plans to transition into an Associate Attorney at The Meyer Law Office upon licensure and continue fighting the fight.
