What brings you here?

Immigration problems do not all require the same approach. Start with the situation closest to yours.

Led By Hans Meyer

Deep Colorado roots. Serious immigration experience.

Hans Meyer grew up in Aurora and has spent his career representing immigrants in Colorado. Before founding Meyer Law Office, he was a trial attorney with the Colorado State Public Defender and served as Director of Public Policy for the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition.

Today, Hans leads Meyer Law Office's attorneys and staff in representing clients before immigration agencies, immigration court, state court, and federal court. The firm is known for direct advice, deep immigration knowledge, and a willingness to litigate when the case requires it.

Admitted in Colorado, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Immigration Services

Immigration help before, during, and after a crisis.

Some clients call because someone has been detained. Others need help with a family petition, a green card, citizenship, or a complicated next step. In each situation, the goal is to understand the risk, make a plan, and move the case forward.

Detention And Federal Court

Some detention cases require more than immigration court.

Getting someone released from ICE custody can require bond strategy, parole or custody requests, emergency filings, or a federal habeas corpus action. Meyer Law Office handles the immigration and federal court sides of the case together.

We get people out.

In detention cases, we move quickly to understand why the person is being held and identify the strongest available path toward release.

What Happens Next

When The Path Changes

A setback does not always end the case.

Detention, a denial, criminal history, or government delay can change what the case requires. Hans Meyer and the Meyer Law Office team bring courtroom, policy, and federal court experience to cases that no longer fit a routine path.
